OSU at Cal Preview

The Beavers will walk into Memorial Stadium in Berkeley tomorrow with a 3-2 record. The Beavers were projected to have only one win this far in the season: The season opener against Portland State. Not only did they win that game, they pulled off an upset against Boise State, and won a nail biter against Washington State. The Cal Bears are 5-1, their only loss coming to UCLA last week.

The Beavers are faced with a tough opponent this week. Cal is 5th in the nation is rushing, and Oregon State’s is near the bottom of the Pac 10. Cal QB Joe Ayoob is becoming more comfortable in his starting role, and Cal has two great running backs in Marshawn Lynch, who has been injured for part of this season, and Sophomore Justin Forsett.

Cal cornerbacks Daymeion Hughes and Tim Mixon are doing a good job for the Bears this season- they combine for 6 interceptions.
