Former Beaver Spotlight: Tim Euhus

Here’s a Q&A Feature I found in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle Newspaper on former OSU Tight End Tim Euhus.

Tim Euhus has always been a low-maintenance guy.

Growing up in Eugene, Ore., and playing college football at Oregon State, Euhus was rarely in the spotlight, and that’s just the way he likes it.

“I don’t need a lot of recognition,” he said.

Euhus loves walking around Buffalo and living a pretty normal life, unlike some Bills stars such as Willis McGahee and Eric Moulds, who are recognized wherever they go.

“You get recognized a little bit, but not to the extent of some of the other players,” he said. “For example, on the bye week, Mike Williams came to church with me and it was a madhouse because everybody recognizes Mike Williams.

“Nobody recognizes me and I go there every week. I kind of enjoy that because you do get to live a normal life. I can go to the mall with my wife and shop, or I can go to a movie.”

A small excerpt from the Q&A Section:

Have you had much success on eBay with any great deals or steals?“I went to Oregon State and we’re the Beavers, so my wife doesn’t know about it yet, but I just got a beaver pelt that I’m going to hang up next to my college helmet. I just finished refurbishing my basement — my major in college was construction engineering — so I just built the basement and had a blast doing it, and I have a little trophy area down there so I’m going to hang the beaver pelt.”“I went to Oregon State and we’re the Beavers, so my wife doesn’t know about it yet, but I just got a beaver pelt that I’m going to hang up next to my college helmet.
